I started Dataccount in 1992 because I thought that technology is a tool best used to achieve business objectives. Too many companies buy the latest and greatest (or just the latest) without fully thinking-out whether a technology buy was a necessary expense in the first place. I wanted to provide a fully-integrated solution that enables my clients greater insight into their operations with all the tools needed to successfully compete. Companies need help with implementation, support and consulting services to increase the return on investment on their ERP software solutions.
What Dataccount offers to manufacturers and distributors, in particular, is a local presence and representative of several different ERP softwares, which support all aspects of the manufacturing and distribution process. This breadth of functionality gives the ability to synchronize, integrate and control a variety of process types all within one software system.
I think our three decades experience in ERP evaluation and implementation sets the Dataccount team apart. Each Dataccount team member possesses solid education and experience in the software, and we hail from richly diverse backgrounds in accounting and manufacturing, as well as technology.
At a recent staff meeting I realized how tremendously deep and broad that range of experience truly is: Dataccount staff has 100 years combined technology experience! In addition, most of the Dataccount team has been with me for over ten years, and our staff retention positively impacts our customer retention as well.
